EZVIZ has launched its first outdoor Pan and Tilt camera in India

EZVIZ has introduced the brand new EZVIZ C8C, an “outdoor pan/tilt camera” with special features. The C8C was developed to meet the challenges of outdoor surveillance and protection, providing amazing features such as panoramic monitoring, human figure detection with artificial intelligence, color night vision and event-triggered active defense. The CCTV camera also comes with 3 night vision modes.

The attractive sphere design and small dimensions of the EZVIZ C8C allow it to fit into any space of the house as well as retail establishments. The camera can easily capture views of large outdoor areas where other common outdoor cameras cannot due to its 360-degree field of view. A single outdoor Pan Tilt camera can monitor a large area from multiple angles, making it a more cost-effective investment than the multi-camera setup that many families still use to achieve the same goal.

Like all other EZVIZ products, the C8C enables direct control, live monitoring and video playback via the free EZVIZ app. All videos are captured in high quality 1080p and are efficiently compressed using the H.265 standard. Users can choose to join the EZVIZ CloudPlay service, which offers a free trial period of up to 30 days, or use the camera’s built-in micro-SD card to record video locally.

EZVIZ C8C is also equipped with a noise canceling microphone. Users can easily control the C8C using the EZVIZ app on their smartphone to see and hear what’s going on. The C8C also comes with two external antennas for better Wi-Fi connectivity. In addition, it is equipped with a weather-resistant cover that allows it to perform well even in adverse weather situations such as wind, rain or snow.

It includes two built-in lamps and a full-color night vision mode. EZVIZ C8C creates a clear image even at night by illuminating the surroundings.

EZVIZ C8C comes with 3 night vision modes. When you don’t need additional lighting, you can use the EZVIZ app to switch the camera to black-and-white night vision and still see up to 30 meters (100 feet) away. The third is the smart night vision mode, which converts the video display from monochrome to full color when motion is detected.

In order to provide an active defense system while limiting false or unnecessary notifications, EZVIZ was looking for a solution. To this end, EZVIZ embedded its intelligent human motion detection AI algorithm into the C8C camera, allowing it to specifically recognize and distinguish human shapes instead of providing warnings on moving vehicles, animals, insects, leaves or even house curtains. When intruders enter the premises, alerts will be sent to users’ mobile devices and a strobe will light up as a deterrent.
