Dell UltraSharp webcam with AI-powered auto-framing has been launched in India

Dell is the latest player on the market to offer a 4K video conferencing webcam. The brand has announced the launch of the Dell UltraSharp webcam that comes with an auto-framing feature. It will compete with Mi TV Webcam and OnePlus TV Camera.

Dell UltraSharp Webcam has been launched in India with a hefty price tag of Rs 18,999. The device will be available for purchase through Dell’s corporate channels across the country.
Similar to Dell Webcam, other brands like Xiaomi and OnePlus have also brought their own webcam for Smart TV in the Indian market. The OnePlus TV Camera is priced at Rs 2,999 in India, while the Mi TV Webcam comes at a much lower price of Rs 1,999. Both webcam modules are currently available for purchase in the country.

Speaking of design, the Dell UltraSharp Webcam has an all-aluminum cylindrical body. A magnetic mount is included along with a tripod adapter so it can be easily attached to your device. Comes with magnetic snap cover for privacy. There is a white LED light indicator to let us know when the webcam is in use.
This webcam from Dell comes with an 8.3 megapixel Sony STARVIS CMOS sensor. The camera is capable of offering 4K UHD resolution at 24fps/30fps and Full HD and HD resolution at up to 60fps. In addition, the camera module is also integrated with a multi-element lens on the top for well-lit videos and Digital Overlap HDR capability. In addition, the webcam is equipped with an automatic framing function supported by artificial intelligence, so that you can focus during the video conference. The device is compatible with both Windows and macOS devices.
The Dell UltraSharp Webcam uses 3D/2D video noise reduction for less grainy image quality and offers customizable field of view options that you can choose from 65, 78 and 90 degrees FOV. In addition, it is also capable of providing 5x digital zoom. In addition, Dell Express Sign-In is available for motion detection using the built-in proximity sensor. This will also allow you to log out when it detects that you have moved away from the sensor. With an IR sensor, it logs the user in using Windows Hello.
On the connectivity front, there is a USB Type-C port that can be used to connect to a computer using the included USB-A to USB-Type C cable.
